I WAS sorry to hear from Welsh EBA Vice-President Wynford Jones that former lightweight Johnny Lewis has passed away. He was 88. “Johnny was a regular visitor to our annual reunion,” Wynford said, “and was hugely popular, keeping us all entertained with his wealth of stories for hours. We have lost a great friend and one of life’s true characters.”
