Down in Kent Paul Ransley has been working on the restoration of Fowler single-cylinder ploughing engine No. 1908 of 1873 since 2005. An article on its restoration to date was printed in the December 2020 Old Glory magazine, says Bob Moorman.
Since then, Paul has been busy working on the drive gears, shafts and bearings as well as the drum drive.
