Adam Sandler wins the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor

The Kennedy Center has announced Adam Sandler as the winner of this year's Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Sandler's credits include SNL, Happy Gilmore, Grown Ups, The Wedding Singer and Hustle.
Adam Sandler is the winner of this year's Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Sandler will receive the award at a gala performance at the Kennedy Center on March 19th, 2023.

Adam Sandler has been named the recipient of the 24th Mark Twain Award for American Humor, considered one of the most prestigious honors in comedy.

According to the Kennedy Center, the "recognizes individuals who have had an impact on American society in ways similar to the distinguished 19th-century novelist andknown as Mark Twain."
