SPAIN

Camping La Aldea, Huelva

El Rocío was one of our must-see destinations during a recent tour of Spain and Camping La Aldea provided the perfect base for exploring this unique town. Situated on the edge of the Donñana National Park, where flamingos, wild boar and the reclusive lynx reside, El Rocío has to be one of Snain’s most unusual towns.

The roads consist of sand, and hitching rails are dotted along them due to horses being the main mode of transport. The central square has cafes, a few shops and a magnificent church, which is well worth a visit.
