TIP OF THE FORTNIGHT

Open multiple web pages in one click

My morning routine online is a quick glance through technology news. I’ve made this quick and easy using the Open Multiple URLs extension for Chrome, which lets you create a list of web pages you can open in a single click.

Once you’ve installed the extension from www.snipca.com/44056, click its icon in your browser bar (1 in our screenshot) then tick the ‘Preserve input’ box 2 to save the URLs you enter in the box . You can type these, but it’s much easier to copy and paste them, particularly if you want to enter long URLs from a web page deep within a website. There’s no ‘Save’ button to click – it’s done automatically.
