VegOut (VO): What inspired you to pursue a career in culinary arts?
Shenarri “Greens” Freeman (SGF): After studying at Howard University, I transitioned to a plant-based diet and ended up attending ICE (the Institute of Culinary Education). It gave me the space to express myself creatively through food, and I saw it as a chance to expand my knowledge on food and cooking.
