BRINGING GOOD CHEER

Although I might pretend to be a Grinch over the festive season, it’s one of my favourite times of year. I will happily eat comfort food with abandon throughout December, with Christmas as the consistent excuse. There’s also the warm feeling I get from listening to Mariah Carey on repeat and watching The Muppet Christmas Carol while wrapping presents.

It’s the winter flavours that are the most uplifting. Dark green, leafy veg, such as cavolo nero and kale, are the season’s stars. Cavolo nero is incredibly versatile and its leaves add colour to every forkful. If you’ve been to one too many work parties, this nutritional heavyweight will give you a boost.
