‘We wanted it to feel like a cosy Cotswolds cottage’

‘When we started searching for a new home, this one stood out to me immediately,’ says Jess Culpin, though her husband, Mitch, wasn't quite as keen to begin with. ‘He wasn't too sure based on the Rightmove details but soon changed his mind once we viewed it.’

The couple were searching for a family home in Leicestershire – one that had a cosy feel, the potential to put their stamp on it, and room enough for their young family to enjoy for years to come. Happily, this property ticked many of these boxes. ‘The driveway was a massive selling point for Mitch,’ says Jess. ‘He's quite optimistic that he will be able to fill it with nice cars one day.’
