HELP FOR YOUR HORMONES

STIMULATE PROGESTERONE PRODUCTION WITH… Chasteberry

Many scientific papers have been published on chasteberry, confirming that it has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-diabetic, anti-cancer and antimicrobial properties.

Chasteberry is also an important herb for weight loss and hormone balance. It stimulates the making of progesterone, which can help to balance out the lack of oestrogen during menopause, and ease PMS symptoms prior to menopause. It restores balance, improves satiety and increases energy.

Recommended dosage: This herb is part of The Girlfriend Doctor’s Zenful supplement (available in the US), but if you take chasteberry alone, suggested dosages of the extract (capsules) range from 20-40mg a day, according to clinical trials. Some companies sell 300mg capsules, which are to be taken once a day. Fluid extract (40 drops daily in the morning) and tincture (35-45 drops three times daily) are also used. Talk to your healthcare practitioner about dosage.
