fter seemingly endless disruptions over the last few years, finally on 11 October, guests gathered at the very stylish Mr Morris in Auckland’s Britomart for a celebratory Dine evening. The waitstaff were welcoming and efficient, ushering arrivals to their tables and swiftly providing glasses of luscious, biscuity Nautilus Cuvee Marlborough Brut NV to enjoy with canapes. The kitchen began what was to be a busy night by sending out flavour-packed kingfish with oyster cream in crunchily delicious nori chips and lightly battered enoki with allspice and sherry vinegar.
