A leap in time

Reading the JAWA story in OBA 102, the first thing that came to mind is long-standing JAWA enthusiast Steve Jeffries. Steve is in the Pine Rivers Area of the HMCCQ and has been riding his 1952 JAWA 250cc Perak to every ‘Twoies and Tiddlers Club ride’ that I can remember. Steve’s bike is an earlier model than the one featured as it has the plunger rear, rather than the later swing arm frame. Other than that they are very similar. Coincidently this year’s event was held on the 10th of August so I include a couple of photos to share with the readers.
