The queen of sustainable fashion Stella McCartney was perfectly at home at Buckingham Palace when the King hosted her and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak last week – among more than 200 world and business leaders – ahead of the Cop27 summit in Egypt, the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference.
As she greeted His Majesty, the British designer – chic in a viscose imitation leather caped dress from her own label – kissed him on both cheeks, then joked: “I think I’m supposed to do this now,” as she dropped into a low curtsy.
