The intense geometric wallpaper that once featured on the focal wall in this open-plan, en-suite bathroom (see inset on page 77) was just too much for artist and photographer Sharon Welman of Sharon Welman Artistry when she moved into her new home.
“While I really loved the beautiful black bath and black fittings, the wallpaper wasn’t to my taste,” she says. “Since it was still in very good condition, I googled how to paint over it and then drew the new design freehand on top – the entire project
