Juki sewing machines have been around for a long time but the company may have previously been better known in Australia for their commercial machines. For this article I was privileged to spend time with the JUKI TL-2010Q machine.

With this model of machine, you can really see where the industrial technology has been melded into the domestic sewing machine. The body of the machine is made from metal and is very sturdy, weighing in at 11.5kg. This model is a straight-stitch-only machine, like other purpose-built industrial machines.
