I founded the first cannabis stock photography agency after being shocked at how photo agencies would stereotype people with terms like ‘stoner’. We partnered with Adobe and grew to over 30,000 images – and I knew that, eventually, people would need images of psilocybin mushrooms that also weren’t stereotypical. I started teaching myself how to grow my own so I could photograph them.
