THAI AIRWAYS OPENS PLANE-THEMED RESTAURANT
THAI AIRWAYS has transformed a former staff cafeteria at its headquarters in Bangkok into a plane-themed restaurant for flying enthusiasts missing the travel experience.
The restaurant seeks to re-create the in-flight experience. Diners enter and exit the restaurant via mobile airstairs, where they are greeted by cabin crew members dressed in full uniform, who scan their souvenir boarding passes before seating them at a table.

The national carrier has grounded most of its planes due to the coronavirus crisis, and filed for bankruptcy protection in May. It has also opened its flight simulators to the public. thaiairways.com
