Tone-on-tone colour and space layering was used to reinvigorate the double-storey Heritage house in Balwyn. Amplifying the great features of the original house Hindley & Co was playful with referencing them in the contemporary rework. The mission was to weave time into the experience of interiors, enhancing the emotional depth.

The transformation of this home was an example of efficiency, collaboration and the success that can be achieved with a clear brief. The project was underpinned by the client’s love of bold primary colour and Australian art woven throughout the home. Evoke joy not awe was the driving force behind every decision.
