This issue's offering is being banged out – I mean silently tapped out on a laptop, not thrashed noisily on a mechanical typewriter which was so much more satisfying – literally as I return home from the Westmorland club's Classic Scramble, an event which made a triumphant return to the Helsington venue, near Kendal, Cumbria, following a 50-year absence.
