Back in January 2020, set out to make a game about a time traveller who accidentally ruins the future, and then sets off to fix her mistake. “It involved going back and forth to all these different eras and trying to figure out what happened, and having to change things to save someone’s life,” Gilbert says. “It was breaking my brain because it was just too much to try to design all at once.”
