There’s never been much doubt about which game Sonic’s latest adventure might be, ahem, taking inspiration from. Nonetheless, you have to admire the sheer barefacedness of naming its collectible plant-critters ‘Koco seeds’. But accepting – as Sega is clearly happy to – that this is very much a game, the question remains: what exactly can a speedy hedgehog bring to that format?
