Suzuki GSX-S1000 GT

It’s been quite an eventful month for the old GT. As soon as I rode the bike and felt how strong the engine was, and how well it handled, I thought, ‘I should do a track day on this.’ Then I remembered I hadn’t actually been on a track in about eight years, and I started wondering if, at 52, maybe I was a bit old for all that. But when Suzuki invited me to take the bike to Cadwell Park for the Suzuki Live! track day, I jumped at the chance – and what a good decision it proved to be.
