PBO enjoys the quirkier side of SIBS 22

From Swallows and Amazons to flyboarding and microyachting, September’s Southampton International Boat Show (SIBS) had plenty of entertainment for boaters and non-boaters alike.

Visitors were treated to a rare appearance of Swallow, the boat from the original Swallows and Amazons film, and the actress who sailed her, Sophie Neville.

One visitor to the show recognised Sophie instantly, even though she was aged 13 when she played Titty in 1974.
