FOR weeks she’d been counting down the days. She couldn’t wait to go overseas with her family to the Big Apple, where she’d walk the runway in front of the biggest names in fashion.

When the big day finally arrived and the 11-year-old strutted her stuff, Gizelle Brummer, otherwise known as Miss G, brought the house down.

The young model, who’s from Mossel Bay in the Western Cape, turned heads at the recent New York Fashion Week where some of the world’s top fashion houses showcased their latest collections.
