MY KIDS ARE ALL GONE

SHE’S used to being woken by the sounds of her children and preparing breakfast to get them started for the day.

Nonhlanhla Ntshangase’s household was always bustling with activity as she helped her twin girls, Minenhle and Nothando (7), and son, Thembelihle (10), get ready for school.

The girls were Grade-1 learners at Victorious Independent School in Pongola, KwaZulu-Natal, and Thembelihle was in Grade 5 at the nearby Sakhumuzi Primary School.

“They’d wake me each morning and then I’d prepare their lunches for school and dress them,” Nonhlanhla tells YOU.

The twins were very close and did everything together, she says, while their big brother loved playing soccer.
