MATERIALS
◌ 40cm (½yd) ombre or hand-dyed cotton fabric (outer bag) – see Note ◌ 35cm (⅜yd) coordinating solid cotton fabric (lining) ◌ 40 x 20cm (16 x 8in) natural cork fabric (bag) ◌ 25 x 15cm (10 x 6in) natural cork fabric (tassel) ◌ 40cm (½yd) lightweight fusible interfacing (such as Pellon ◌ Shapeflex SF101 or Legacy Shapeflex L-SF101) ◌ 35cm (⅜yd) fusible fleece (such as Pellon Thermolam 971F or Vilene H640) ◌ Two 25mm (1in) triangular ‘rings’ (or use D rings instead) ◌ Two 40mm (1½in) swivel hooks (strap connectors) ◌ One 25mm (1in) swivel hook (tassel connector) ◌ One 20mm (¾in) magnetic snap ◌ One tassel cap ◌ 10 rivets, 6mm (¼in) and a rivet setter tool or rivet press ◌ 3mm (⅛in) wide double-sided tape, masking tape and electrical tape ◌ Threads to match the bag fabrics ◌ Craft or fabric glue ◌ Fray Stoppa ◌ A3 sheet of paper (pattern) ◌ Sewing machine with Teflon foot (optional) and ¼in foot ◌ Rotary cutter, ruler and mat ◌ General sewing supplies
