MATERIALS

• 35cm ( 3/8yd) aqua print fabric (outer bag and slip pocket)

• Fat quarter dark blue print fabric (lining and zipper tabs)

• 40cm ( 1/2yd) mustard print fabric (slip pocket lining, zipper pocket, strap and strap connectors)

• Two swivel hooks, 4cm (1 1/2in) long

• 70cm ( 3/4yd) light/medium-weight fusible interfacing (such as Pellon Shapeflex SF101 or Legacy Shapeflex L-SF101)

• Fat quarter foam interfacing (such as By Annie’s Soft and Stable Foam Interfacing) or fusible fleece (such as Pellon Thermolam 971F or Vilene H640)

• Two D rings and one slider, 20mm ( 3/4in) wide

• One aqua dress zipper, 25cm (10in) long (pouch closure)

• One aqua dress zipper, 18cm (7in) long (zippered pocket)

• Decorative label (optional)

• Threads to match the bag fabrics

• Fabric glue

• Sewing machine with standard and zipper feet

• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat

• General sewing supplies

Finished size:

20cm high x 23cm wide x 1.3cm deep (8in x 9in x 1/2in)

Note: Read all the instructions before starting the project. Requirements are based on fabric 107cm (42in) wide and fusible interfacing and foam/ fleece 100cm (40in) wide. Use¹/2in seams throughout, unless otherwise stated. Instructions are given for using the printed Pattern Sheet in the magazine, but you can also download the digital patterns from www.homespun.net.auand print them out.
