• 55cm ( 5/8yd) feature print fabric (bag front and pockets)

• 45cm ( 1/2yd) solid black fabric (bag back and strap)

• 35cm ( 3/8yd) solid mauve fabric (lining)

• 65cm ( 3/4yd) bag batting; Kate used Matilda’s Own bag batting

• 70cm (27in) length of sew-in or fusible foam, 1 1/2in wide

• Two 30cm (12in) black continuous zippers with non-metallic teeth and a zipper pull; Kate used By Annie zippers

• Two silver D rings, 1 1/4in wide

• One magnetic clip set; Kate used By Annie sew-in invisible magnetic snaps

• Four-thread overlocker

• Four spools of black overlocker thread

• Decorative label (optional)

• Two spools of decorative overlocker thread; Kate used Cameo from Designer Threads

• Size 14 overlocker needles – check the correct system for your brand/model of overlocker

• Black sewing-machine thread

• Quilting (‘wonder’) clips

• Chalk marker/pencil

• Sewing machine

• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat

• General sewing supplies
