Movie-making enduro rider Adam Riemann and former world champion MX ace Ben Townley were selected to represent Australia and New Zealand on the recent Ténéré 700 World Raid launch in Spain.
Both have made a career out of riding hard and fast and both have ridden the standard Ténéré 700 extensively, so both are well placed to not only explore the full performance of the new model but comment on the upgrades.
The World Raid model — due to arrive in Australia around March 2023 — features revised, longer-travel KYB suspension, a larger 23-litre fuel tank that increases fuel range to around 500km, three-mode switchable ABS, wider footpegs and an Öhlins adjustable steering damper. All these modifications are aimed at delivering a machine that can go harder for longer in typical Aussie conditions — very similar to those found at the global release.
