‘To get the most from a workout, always include a pre-workout warm-up,’ says Woman’s Weekly GP Gill Jenkins. Warming up properly means you’re less likely to get injured or ache afterwards. Try marching on the spot, star jumps, knee lifts, shoulder rolls, arm circles and leg swings.
