TAKUMA CK CARBON BOARDS & RS WING

So firstly, let’s talk about the RS wing. We interviewed wing designer Robert Stroj in the previous issue, and it was clear he’s really put a lot of thought into his first wing for Takuma. Can you talk us through some of the tech that’s involved?

The RS is an extremely advanced, ultra-reactive wing. We owe the carefully planned cutting edge design to the crossover of Robert’s skills with our intensive testing and desire to go beyond. Takuma is truly stoked to present this breakthrough in wing performance.

The RS has been designed with a compact outline and reduced center strut length. This results in consistent drive combined with direct feel. The Airfoil profile keeps an efficient forward-pull lifting force for getting going easier in light winds. The integration of lightweight power tip battens holds the wing’s shape
