My Boat My Life

’ve run a charter business in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, since 1971, and have owned six boats named The name came about as a tribute to Capt. Joe Russell of Key West, Florida, a gruff, old guy my father and I chartered with a couple of times way back when. Russsell had and had been one of Ernest Hemingway’s skippers — or so we were told.
