Keeping yourself motivated might sound easy but that isn’t always the case. The Covid pandemic has caused shock waves through society and diminished the motivation in a lot of athletes due to the lack of competitions. What I’ve learnt is that a huge part of staying motivated is the constant urge to get better and be ready for competition resuming. Competition has always been a huge part of my life; I am naturally very competitive regardless of what I’m doing. My goals are changing as I get older, but one thing always stays the same – the drive and motivation to be better, and to inspire more people not only to kite but also to believe in themselves.
