“We’re friends with Hawkwind and with Mike Batt,” says Chrissy Mostyn, The Blackheart Orchestra’s vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. “We feel like we have a beautiful musical family of friends.” Since supporting space rock pioneers Hawkwind and orchestra conductor Mike Batt on their In Search Of Utopia – Infinity And Beyond tour in 2018, the unstoppable British duo have gone from one success to the next and are preparing to open the doors to their own fourth album, Hotel Utopia.

The duo’s 2019 concept album Mesmeranto reached No.16 in the UK Indie Chart, No.18 in the UK Rock Chart and No.4 in the USA’s Big Takeover Albums of the Year, and Mostyn was ranked fifth Best Female Vocalist in the Prog Readers’ Poll.
