WHEN LIFE WOBBLES
Tucked up in bed, there was no better feeling.
Snuggled in close to my husband Alister, now 40, it was a wholesome moment to know that we had just tied the knot.
After 16 long years together, meeting in London through our various roles in marketing and construction, we decided to get married in late 2011.
Holding the ceremony in Babington House, Somerset, it was a pretty fantastic moment.
Alister was the life and soul of the party, always making the most out of life.
Since a young age, he’d competed as a British Superbike racer, at a champion level, so you can imagine the charm and lively personality that he possessed.
I couldn’t imagine anyone else that I’d rather spend my life with.
And the idea of starting a family with him in the near future was exciting.
Only, just a few months after getting married, in early 2012, being next to one another in bed had quickly turned sour.
