his month, famous guitarists and guitar enthusiasts from all over the world will gather in Olde Town Arvada to celebrate the art of and the famous will be in full force on September 9-11. “For one weekend, Olde Town Arvada will become the center of the archtop guitar universe,” says Festival Organizer Peter Henriksen. “This unique music festival is the only one of its kind and features more than 30 of the world’s premier guitar builders showcasing their work, along with world-class players, teachers and clinicians offering workshops and concerts.” With over 60 hours of music and more than 30 different workshops and clinics being hosted by local businesses, all within walking distance, participants are sure to experience the most unique guitar-focused music festival Denver has ever seen. “Arvada is the perfect place to host the festival,” Henriksen adds. “An event like this draws visitors to the area and shows them what a great place this is to live, work and play in. All of the concerts are free for visitors during the weekend and visitors pay only to see the exhibit, see the film or attend workshops with some of the world’s best guitar builders and musicians.”
