CAPTURING the HIGHS & LOWS of FISHING
In November every year a group of friends and I enjoy a ‘boys only’ fishing trip in the MacKenzie Country. We spend most of our time fishing either Lake Benmore or one or more of the many streams that dissect the stunning landscape there. However, during each trip we set aside one day to try our luck on the canals, hoping naturally, to bring one of those truly monstrous resident trout to shore.
Occasionally one of our party has been successful in landing a ‘beast’ and that has motivated the others to persevere with what could be described as a somewhat repetitive style of fishing.
