Emerging from a trickle in the Australian Alps, the Goodradigbee River begins its journey below Mount Morgan, from its headwaters in the Snowy Mountains of NSW. Here, it's only a few metres wide and strangled in vegetation, as it snakes through classic alpine high country. As the river widens out, side creeks and tributaries merge, increasing the river's volume. It then tumbles down through steep and rugged terrain, dissecting the Bimberi Wilderness. In this location, you'd have to question how much of the water is untouched, as there's very little accessibility in a remote and unpopulated section of the river.
