everybody has a story

I live in a little house with a big backyard in Auckland, work as an alcohol and drug counsellor and have a pet goat, Lilly. When I meet people, they say, “We’ve heard about Lilly – are you the goat lady?” I didn’t even want a cat, because I like to be able to travel. My job as a therapist is quite intensive, so it was nice to have the freedom without an animal, and here I am with a goat the size of a Rottweiler. She’s been a delight, though – it’s been such an unexpected experience living with a goat
