The Street Fighter series has come a long way since its arcade debut in 1987.

So what’s everyone’s earliest Street Fighter memory?

TIM

At the back of the Craigavon Shopping Centre in Northern Ireland, there were usually two arcade machines – for a while one of them was Street Fighter. Not the thump-pad one though, this just had regular buttons.

NICK

Playing on the SNES at a family event of some kind, we were passing the pad around trying to get through the single-player game as Sagat.
