had not expected to have a moving musical experience when I set out to view highlights from Christie’s Classic Week and Exceptional summer sales, especially as the ‘Hellier’ Stradivarius was not to be given an airing, but that— especially Marlene Dietrich’s German version—far above Bob Dylan’s. I still think the words are better.
