PEACH LEAF CURL

I was wondering if you had any advice about my ‘Red Haven’ peach tree. It‘s very badly affected by peach leaf curl.

Yes, your tree is badly affected. Luckily, it is rarely fatal, although it does weaken the tree and reduce yield, especially on a small tree. It is harder to protect a free-standing bush tree than a wall-trained one, but the traditional method of covering the tree with a shelter of polythene from autumn leaf fall to mid-May would still be possible. A couple of posts placed behind the tree with trellis between to form a ‘wall’ can be used as a support
