STEP BY STEP Take semi-ripe cuttings (Hydrangea quercifolia)
Make cuttings of Hydrangea quercifolia now while the young shoots are maturing for winter. Cuttings are made from the newest, non-flowering shoots, which by this time in the season are known as semi-ripe material.
Put the cuttings somewhere out of direct sunlight and air them regularly to avoid fungal rots. Cuttings will be rooted before winter, but don’t move them into new pots until they sow signs of growth in
