Fake your location when browsing the web

ebsites automatically detect your location from your IP address so they can deliver relevant content, but they can also use this data to identify and track you. You can use a VPN (see our Cover Feature in Issue 631, page 50) to disguise this information, but a much simpler (and cheaper) option is to install Vytal (). This new extension lets you spoof your location so that sites think you are in a different country in another time zone.
