Seeing my mum Roz work as an air hostess, I knew I wanted to follow in her footsteps. Soon, I was travelling around the world too, exploring different countries. I loved my job, just as Mum did, but there was something which often irritated me – my toothbrush.
During my travels, I’d lose them or they would become grubby. And while I hated using horrible hard plastic covers because they weren’t eco-friendly, there didn’t seem to be any alternatives.
One evening, sitting in the garden with my mum, the pair of us sipping red wine, we jokingly talked about inventing a better cover for a toothbrush. And then we forgot all about it.
