Penne with broccoli & pancetta pangrattato

500g casarecce pasta
1 large or 2 small heads broccoli, cut into small florets, stalk peeled and chopped
½ cup (125ml) extra virgin olive oil, plus extra to serve
100g thinly sliced pancetta, chopped coarsely
70g (1 cup) coarse fresh breadcrumbs
3 garlic cloves, sliced thinly
½ teaspoon dried chilli flakes
