MIGHTY MUSHROOM
A South Australian schoolboy is believed to have discovered the world’s largest porcini mushroom weighing an enormous 2.6 kilograms. Whilst walking home from school, Jasper Les, from the Adelaide Hills, spotted the massive mushroom and said, “I’ve never seen one that big or even close to being that big.” The 14-yearold brought the fungus home to show his mother, who was equally surprised. Realising that Guinness World Records does not currently have a listing for the world’s largest porcini mushroom; the family has applied for official acknowledgment of Jasper’s discovery.
