SALMON NAME FOR SUSHI
A group of people, who changed their names to take advantage of a sushi restaurant promotion, have been discouraged by Taiwanese officials. The food chain, Akindo Sushiro, offered anyone who included “salmon” in their legal name an all-you-can-eat meal for themselves and five friends. Reports claim around 150 sushi-enthusiasts submitted a name change request for a new ID card and registration certificate. Some of the selected names included, “Explosive Good Looking Salmon”, “Salmon Prince”, “Meteor Salmon King” and “Salmon Fried Rice”. One customer admitted, “I’ve changed my first name to salmon and two of my friends also did.
