The Valentino haute couture creation that actor Nicola Peltz wore to marry Brooklyn Beckham – David and Victoria’s eldest son, and new chef – wasn’t just a dress. “It was a story,” the bride says, smiling, when I speak to the newest Mr and Mrs Peltz Beckham a few days after their starry nuptials in April.

First, there were the mother-daughter trips she made to the Valentino atelier in Rome for the fittings over the year-long design process.
