A PLEASANT SURPRISE

HE weather this year in south east Queensland has been wet and windy almost continually until the end of May. For months the entire estuary was brown and dirty and apart from mud crabs there weren’t many fishing options. Even on the offshore grounds the dirty water penetrated wide of the continental shelf, and for about 10 weekends in a row there were strong wind warnings and rough seas.
