When the Magic Happens!
Once upon a time there was a handsome 3yo Australian Stock Horse gelding. His name was Spinderella Man, and he wore a coat the colour of spun gold, his satin sheen almost reflective. The striking palomino, sired by Kents Pocket Spinman, was well-handled, then broken in as a 3yr old in 2020. He was given six months of education with Andrew, prior to Lily taking her first ride on Spin. It seemed a match made in heaven, but little did the Buchanan’s know that it would be the beginning of a fairy-tale romance—not between a Prince and his Princess to be—but between a big golden horse and a smitten little girl. Spindarella Man had decided, too, that Lily was going to be his forever human.
Lily rode and trained Spin under the guidance of her parents, but due to covid restrictions, neither had much competition experience. This meant that 2021 was going to be a year of first time situations
